S7E5: Angels Take Manhatten

Last "notes only" post.

Melody. Really?

Stupid stupid stupid.

We can do whatever we want with time now.  There are apparently no stakes.

She would scream a lot louder than that if she'd broken her wrist.

Alex and Matt getting kissy churns my stomach.  She's so old, he's so nasty.

Why does Amy look like Harry Potter?

WHAT?  He just uses his time energy?  WTF?

Too bad she doesn't get the sonic screwdriver now.  Hehehe.

I like that Rory's middle name is Arthur.

Rory dies again.  Wha wha!

Why are they taking Rory? What's the point?

Yes, let's commit genocide.
Yes, let's create a paradox.

Statue of Liberty? Really?  And what is Moffat's obsession with the US?
"You think you'll just come back to life?"
"When don't I?"

What's up with all the black eye makeup on Amy? She looks like a whore.

Amy can't possibly have any maternal feelings towards River.

So.  Why can't he just go back?

When you remove the stakes by making it possible to go ANYWHERE for ANY reason, then when you say that you CAN'T go back somewhere, I don't fucking believe you.

Also, if River can go back with her time vortex manipulator, then why doesn't the Doctor use it go back and do something about the situation?

If they created a paradox and survived "reset" if you like, then how come the angels all still exist?

And shouldn't they really have done something about that angel that took Amy?  Or were they like, oh well.
This is essentially the same thing that happened to Rose, except Rose was saving the world, and it wasn't her choice.  It makes me think that it's Moffat thumbing his nose at all of the Rose fans.
